Anyone know how to call cic from outside canada

Hi,
To call cic from outside of Canada, dial +1 613-944-4000 (Global Affairs) and then follow the instructions (that means press the numbers as per the instructions).

Also, if you use the app Google Hangouts, you can call that number free of charge. That app is both supported in mobile as well as you PC (link to access from computer is https://hangouts.google.com/webchat/start) login to that link using ur google account and make the call.

Some days I check ecas three or four times, just hoping that something might happen.

Update: We got refused. Stating the immigration officer was not satisfied that we meet R4(1)(b) and A16(1). Submitted the appeal today.

Did your file get transferred? We are also August 16 applicant and my husband is from India as well. File got transferred to New Delhi on feb 14 and they started background check on feb 19. Nothing after
