Hi there,

I did my citizenship test on Feb 6th and my status changed to decision made on Feb 12th. I haven't received invitation for Oath ceremony. I filed from Ottawa.

Any idea how long is it taking for Ottawa applicants. Anyone near my date who already got invitation for oath?

Can you guys answer my question below?
I have sent a request through web form that i asked the status of my citizenship application, i mentioned that my application was accepted as Urgent one since November and the process completed ( background check) and i have been waiting for an invitation for test. My application is in Mississauga office. Again i pleased them to send an invitation for Citiz test as early as possible with reasons and i received the response 2 days later as " While examining your file, we were pleased to notice that the situation reported in your Web form request is now resolved.whats the meaning of that sentence? favourable / positive or Negative?

Hello Guys, Can you please let me know how long we can postpone once we receive the test date? we have planned to visit home country for 3 months incase if we receive test as soon as we left the country then can we ask CRA to postpone with valid reason?

how many months we can extend....please if anyone come across this type of situtation...

I am filling Citizenship forms for myself now and a question for employer name to be mentioned.

I have opened inc. and working as a AZ driver since last June-18. I am receiving payments cheques from my employer with HST on my inc. name.

Now while filling forms under employer details, I should write my employer name and address who issues cheque or my inc. name.

Your reply will be very helpful.

Leaving for that long u must report IRCC of ur absence before leaving so that they do not issue u a test invite during ur absence else u will have to give a valid explaination as to why they shud reschedule

I would assume you would get test invite soon as your application was already accepted as urgent.

In the case where you have still not received the test invite and your trip is already planned, you can contact IRCC and inform them about your travel plans. The case officer will consider your dates while issuing the first test invite date.

Hi, thanks for the information, I have updated the spreadsheet. It would be so helpful to have the date of your test letter if you have it, just so I can keep your line on the sheet nice and tidy and so others in process can have an idea of processing timelines. Well done in getting to this stage already. Wishing you all the very best with the final stages.

Thanks! The date on the letter is 2019/02/22 and was emailed to me on same day.
