Hi Moderator
Can you please add me to the spreadsheet?
Thank you

Here are my details:
ID: SLTeacher
Location: Vancouver
App type: Family
Physical Presence: 1132 days
App Sent: Mailed 7th August 2018
App Delivered: 9th August 2018
App Received (CIC) : 10th August 2018
AOR : 7th November 2018
IP: 23rd November 2018
Fingerprint (ECAS): 29th November
Fingerprint notice received in mail: 5th December 2018
Fingerprints done at Van Police Cambie Station: 6th December 2018 (they refused to send to CIC directly, they said I have to do that myself)
Fingerprints received from RCMP: December 14th December 2018
Fingerprint report dropped off at CIC Vancouver Downtown: 18th December

I am wondering if I should call them to see if they received the RCMP fingerprint report. Of course no updates online on that.

Please update my status:
Jan 8 - test passed

During the interview received a request to provide a translation of my passport with all the stamps and visas (reason being that there is an Egypt visa which is in all Arabic, including dates).

My spouse and I were interviewed together.

Do we need to take only the recent passport to the interview?

My application is in Vancouver and they haven't even update my fingerprints status. RCMP sent the fingerprints to them since December 13. So yes, I agree, Vancouver is a slow processing center.
I live in Vancouver Island, got notification on ECAS about a request mailed to me on Dec 24th, got the letter on Jan 03 to do FPs which was done on Jan 04th.

Apparently we are the slowest province compared to the rest, I will call CIC maybe next week if I don't receive anything or see changes on ECAS

I sent an email to Ottawa center to reschedule citizenship test 3 days ago, no reply so far from them. I did a web form contact on CIC website, no thing from them either.

Anyone has done similar request?
Thanks

Hi dub2can,

you have to bring all the passports, including the expired one, just to make sure =)
the officer who interviewed us checked our old passports as well.
hope this helps.

can you please list the documents that you took to the test center.

I will list the document I took vs document they checked or asked for.

Document I took (Probably took more than they asked for but it is better to be safe than sorry)

International Passport - current and old - For all the family
Photocopy of passport page
PR Card
Two pieces of IDs
COPR
Original document that supported our applications - e.g test of english, birth certiificate for the kids
Printed the initial application submitted
(Note - I found out that they had nothing to do with kids so no need to take anything relating to them)

What they checked or asked for.

International passport (only the two that covers the last 5 years)
Two identification (Drivers license and Health card)

I also live on Vancouver Island in Victoria (I'm a September applicant) and it has been sooo slow!!! It took over a month to go from AOR to In Process. I also just did fingerprints. Good luck!

Thanks for your response.

In my previous passports, i have some visas/stamps in arabic. So in that case i might have to translate them.

Read from someone else's post that they look at passports covering last 5 years. So translations only for current and my previous passport would be sufficient i guess?
