No Fingerprint Request! Thanks!

August Applicants.... I went for test and interview yesterday. Test is straightforward if you read the study guide, interview is a formality as long as you have ID and landing docs, the more information you can provide about days outside of Canada i.e plane tickets etc is appreciated by the officers. Really straightforward process, good luck everyone. All in time from check in to leaving was around 2 1/2 hours.

Good to know. It seems like you are only one or very few received the invite to test and interview. Usually how long it will take between IN PROCESS AND TEST, any idea?

I was in Niagara Falls location, the officer said to me they have been able to put more resources into playing catch up and significantly reduced wait times here, for other locations I cant speak of. Best guess is to look at the spreadsheet of previous months applicants.

Hi, any source of test preparation for citizenship test?

It differs across offices but 6 months in average, I think!

I got my letter for finger prints yesterday and done finger printing today. What do you guys suggest how long it takes for cic to get informed that finger prints are done ?

By the way, Canada post made a huge mistake sending my fingerprint letter to wrong po box and luckily it was sent to a friend's box instead. I do not trust Canada post from now

so i called the Contact centre and I was advise that my AOR was sent Nov 5, 2018.
and the agent told me that Ive passed the background check already and just waiting for the Citizenship exam.

Question, How do they send notice for exam?

They should send you an email I believe if you have provided any email to them

The test invite is usually an email. If your background checks are done... expect the test invite soon... Where is your local office?
