It depends on where you are. I'm a Feb applicant, IP since May 1st, and still no test invite. So it could be a long time you're in processing before an invite. In my area, it seems that the longest stretch is from IP to test invite. Once you get the invite, things seem to pick up quickly.Looks like roughly 2-3 months. Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I'm not scared. I haven't done anything, not even never involve in an accident since I got here. The problem is that I was with implied status. So that's why they are asking because during implied status we don't have legal papers. However, back when I called them, they said I could stay here in Canada with implied status until I got my papers (maximum of 3 months). Thanks for the feedbackAdded to the spreadsheet.
Sydney is simply a processing center; they check to see if your application contains all the necessary documents and things have been signed. It's step one of the entire process- it filters out those who are ineligible for citizenship at first glance. The actual application will be handled at your nearest IRCC office and they'll go through your application with a fine-tooth comb to see if you are eligible for citizenship; this is also when they do background checks and such before they issue the citizenship test.
Usually an FP request is sent out because your name comes up with a flag- don't be scared! This just means that your name is similar to someone else's in the system and they just want to make sure you are not that person!

Physical Presence : 1154 days
Application sent: 2nd Aug
Application Received: 7th Aug
AOR : 17th Oct

Did they tell you if it was accepted or not?3 reasons,
1. My mom's eye surgery, my marriage and Federal govt job that needed Citizenship.
They accepted my application in 5 days (2 or 3 months instead) and i received AOR, and its changed "in Process" within 2 days .Did they tell you if it was accepted or not?

Hi All,
I have a question regarding a mistake i made in one entry in my physical presence calculator.
I went to Vegas for a weekend trip and in the list of entries under "Absence from Canada" i specified reason as vacation - "Went on vacation to Las Vegas" however i just realized that in destination i incorrectly selected India rather United States of America.
My question is:
1) How can i rectify this with CIC.
2) Impact of this error.
Kindly advise on the next steps for the rectification please.
**Note - This does not effect my PPC eligibility, as the error is on the destination and not the duration i was out of country.
Thanks,
Tanmaya
