Hello, thank you everyone for contributing to this amazing forum and especially the moderators for maintaining such a useful spreadsheet! I've been following along the spreadsheet comparing my progress over the past several months to everyone else and recommending it to friends who are on the same boat. But I realized I was being quite selfish just using your information and not contributing myself! So I created an account on here today to post my details for you to be able to include it too.

App. Delivered: August 27, 2018
AOR: November 27, 2018
In Process ecas: January 21, 2019
Test Invite letter/ecas date: March 19, 2019
Test Interview date: April 9, 2019
--> I had to miss it because I was out of country on business trip unable to return; I sent email next day March 20, 2019 with my reason (and supporting documentation) requesting to reschedule. No response/acknowledgement. Then on May 9, 2019: Received letter in the mail only (no email) of a "final notice to appear" with new test date: May 29, 2019.
Fingers crossed all goes smoothly for next steps.

Hello everyone,

Again I am writing to share experience so others can read this when they need some information as that could help as it helped me before:

I had the Oath and Citizenship Ceremony on May 13th 2019. All went good and today I was in passport office to apply for passport but citizenship certificate is not yet validated on the system so I had to call Cic who informed me that there is a process called manual validation that passport office can do when status is not yet updated by officer from decision made to complete. I mentioned that to the passport officer but after some argument, someone was able to do manual validation for citizenship certificate and accept my passport application today. I am not sure what will happen with this validation and if any issues will raise in the middle. However I mentioned about my upcoming travel date on June 2nd and hope things will work alright.

I said my application was received at AUG ..., and there was only three months left however, I didn't received the test invitation. I suspect it can be done within the timeline. That's it. Very simple. I find the date on the invitation was the same day as my request. Not sure it has any connection with the test invitation.
