I would say in progress.Which of the two is closer to 'eligibility passed'?
I think you should have consulted a lawyer before submitting the application and taken an opinion on this one. It could be nothing or it could be something. Anyways what’s done is done. I think best person to guide you is @legalfalcon. Hope @legalfalcon reads this and provides guidanceThank you for getting back. CIO's note is word-to-word what I said, in the field which asks for conviction/arrest record.
Little background, it was an over-speeding stop, it was spring-break and Galveston PD was cracking down and just arresting students for vaguest and smallest of reasons. Instead of giving a ticket they arrested me, I was released the following day, coz I pleaded guilty/no contest.
The documents I submitted with my CIC application, as client information/LOE, was the conviction/ release document and the associated arrest record. That's pretty much all I have with me. I don't know why, but it never shows on any FBI, background, driver history, insurance history, criminal history checks.
I have a feeling, it was a mistake mentioning this on my CIC application. Please guide me, what to do!
I hate to say this - but I too have the same feelingI think it is just some random date to them lol. They will probably push it again
They just like to toy with us
April 1st is coming, brace yourselves for CIC to play a prank on us all lolI hate to say this - but I too have the same feeling
Omg!! They dug up so much about you even without starting criminality or security??Hello

My application hasn't moved beyond 'Medical Passed' since September. I know I have a conviction on file, but my FBI and India PCC is clear, because it was minor traffic violation and was never noted on public record. Could this be a reason for delay/ possible rejection? Can I do anything about it? I provided all documents of conviction/arrest as part of client information letter, when I first filed my application. My Security and Criminality status says 'Not Started'.
Please help!
Just shows you can't hide anything from them. Imagine what all they will dig up once security and criminality startsOmg!! They dug up so much about you even without starting criminality or security??
They didn’t really dig up anything. All the information noted has been provided by the applicant itself for stat questions. Analysts always review the information related to stat questions at eligibility stage and make a note in casere further review of visa officers required. You will see review required for example for anyone who has declared a visa refusal in stat questions.Omg!! They dug up so much about you even without starting criminality or security??
Sadly Ottawa has become slow now Even I was happy that my application is in Ottawa but oh boy it is a painful wait nowAny PPRs today?
I wonder what happened to Ottawa VO. It used to be the fastest VO. I pray the following week favours us with PPR
I didn't provide my income tax details, would it be an issue? I have provided my salary certificate only mentioning the date of joining and the income I withdrew in the financial year. Kindly guide. ThanksHi everyone, I got my GCSM notes today. I have 2 RRs.
One is for a US PCC when I was not present in US. I left US before applying to EE and returned to US 2 months after AOR. I do not understand if I should send them an explanation or a new PCC? I was requested a schedule A form after this recommendation was made but I can not see a new recommendation.
I also have a RR for my employment, I have submitted W2 and pay stubs from the University and letter from my manager who doesn't work at the University anymore. The case analyst has pointed out things like no state tax, no deductions etc. I am thinking of providing my offer letter from the university. I don't know if I can get a letter from HR at this point. What else I can do?
Thanks
