Hi,
I mailed CPC-Ottawa on 12th April and did not get any reply. Again mailed on 22nd April.
On 30th April, i got reply for the mail that I sent on 12th April and it said additional verification required.
On 1st May, I got the reply for the mail that I sent on 22nd April and it said, in queue for review by officer.
This is the first time i got reply about having my file in queue otherwise everytime I raise CSE or I mail CPC, I always used to get the response of additional verification.
Doest this reply means anything ?

Hi, thanks for the info. Just an update, that when I called cic around first week of April, they said case officer has sent a note to agents that if the file is not processed by 19th May then they should send a reminder. As per 2nd set of GCMS the due date was 18 March 2019

A friend of mine was depending on his brother to land as a PR so that he could claim the 15 points
The brother has actually done a soft landing and gone back to Dubai where he is planning to spend another 1 year
Any possibilities for my friend to claim 15 points?

Nope. Your friend can't claim points till his brother is residing in Canada. PR card along will not do. He will have to submit his brother's proof of residence in Canada like tenancy contract, utility bills etc along with proof of sibling relationship and PR card.
Actually, when u login the status shows application/profile updated but when you click it, go inside the account, u wont be able to see any change. Its the same status as was earlier. Hence the name was framed as “Ghost”. Nothing official...
