Whats your aor? These are standard replies by agents. Dont pay much attention
AOR is August 8 and latest status online is BG check is in process.

She also mentioned eligibility has not been met yet. But doesn't that come before BG check? So confused right now!

I luckily managed to connect with an agent using the IRCC hotline. She said that my file is in Ottawa and I should call them again around mid / end April, around the 20th if I don't hear from them until then. Anyone here with the same experience? How do they determine this new "deadline"?
Me. They have asked me to call on Mar 17th

Hi everyone and good luck with your respective applications. I received my AOR on August 4th but since then my status has not changed from " We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.". And i have passed my medical and background check is in progress.

But this has stayed the same since November. Is this normal?

Any advice? I have just applied for GCMS and have just raised a CSE today. But beyond this is there anything I can do to expidite?

Thanks,

Hi
I received this email from cic today. I am trying to understand what it means.

"Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed. Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file.We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum."

Does it mean im under additional security screening? or is it a regular review? As when i called, the agent told me i had passed eligibility and criminality and the security was yet to be started.
Hi! Have your background check started or still in the eligibility review stage?

If you go through this forum, you would've found Sydney to be one of the slowest VO, meaning it takes longer than usual. You could've left the application and continued with other things in your life and whenever it comes thru..it comes. Anyway all the best

But each to their own I suppose....All the best anyways

It is kind of hard to explain but let just say I am an Australian so I guess staying at where I am isn't bad compare to Canada.
