1) It lists it right there in the email:

CPC – Ottawa – PR
365 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1

2) Usually in a few days from what I've seen.

I'm actually not going to call. It seems they need it for the PR card so I'll just send in new photos

Also, for those having trouble reading the email, use the print feature of your email client. Mine had trouble formatting it but once it printed it out it looked normal. (Or use a PDF printer)
"If you have a mailing address in Canada:
- The pre-paid Xpresspost envelope must be from Canada Post. Please note that we will not return documents to a Canadian address via any other courier.
- Submit all documents by mail in a single package and send to the following address:

CPC – Ottawa – PR
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9

Do they actually care what address it's coming back to for the prepaid envelope? Like does it have to be the PA's address? Or when the time comes, can I just have it sent to my husband's house in Ontario? We left the photos with my husband to expedite mailing them off if it would come to that (which, there's no way it won't, as I had my original photos done in July before you guys did). His mom works for Canada Post so it's much easier for her to mail stuff than it is for me to get stuff mailed from here. Also, aside from the photos and the copy of the passport (and the return envelope) is there anything else that needs to be included? I've seen people in the past mentioning needing to include a copy of the PPR e-mail.

In some ways, this process makes me feel better. Knowing that I'll receive an e-mail with a specific process to follow will allow me to set a solid timeframe for giving notice to my daughter's school and finishing up everything on this end before my husband's family comes down to help me move.
I'm wondering the same thing! My husband was just in town visiting me from the states this weekend. I took him to take new photos just in case because it's looking like updated photos are in fact needed. He left them with me, so I was wondering whether I should have sent them home with him to mail in with whatever they may request. I mean it's not a huge deal because I can just overnight them to him so he'll have it ready to send with his prepaid envelope. Because he'll need the COPR sent to him anyway since he lives there and is not in Canada yet.

It's so funny how the end is so near and the questions/worry/panic never die down lol

Thanks, I shouldn't be scrolling through that mess on a phone!

So, in our original application, we listed my canadian address as the mailing address on IMM0008, and my husband's US address as the residential address. Does that mean we fall into the canadian category for the format of return envelope? It is worrying because they expressly say don't fill in the address on the envelope, so I want to be sure the canadian mailing address we listed on IMM0008 will be used or the expresspost is useless! Perhaps this warrants a call to ask them?

Here are the canadian mailing address instructions:
· If you have a mailing address in Canada:
- The pre-paid Xpresspost envelope must be from Canada Post. Please note that we will not return documents to a Canadian address via any other courier.
- Submit all documents by mail in a single package and send to the following address:
CPC – Ottawa – PR
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9

DO NOT FILL OUT THE ADDRESS SECTION ON YOUR CANADA POST RETURN ENVELOPE.

So I think it doesn't really matter, whichever works best for you.
I have just mailed everything they want yesterday, with a different address because I moved but never update my address in the application.

I just called Walgreens and they have a program to do Canadian Passport Photos. This is in Texas mind you, but you would think that they would all have the same program.

I was just reading the photo specification sheet and it does state that the photo must be taken by a commercial photographer. Not sure if an online program will work so Walgreens it is.

They will use whatever address you put in the Annex A form that is attached at bottom of the email.
My husband forwarded me the email. Is the Annex A form attached in your emails as a form to download? Mine is just part of the email document and seems like it's cut off. It only shows 4 boxes with:

Upper left box: name and UCI

Bottom left:
TO BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED WITH YOUR DOCUMENTS
I agree that the permanent resident visa will be affixed to my passport and dependents’ passports, if applicable.
My Permanent Resident visa and/or confirmation of permanent residence will be mailed to the below Canadian or US address.

Upper right: barcode

Bottom right: blank

Do I really just put an address in that one blank box? There's no where to sign???

Also, for some reason gmail won't give me the option to print all (the printer icon top right) that it does for every other email. And if I use the chrome print option it only prints what's on the screen not the whole email....

And pasting it into word doesn't keep the barcodes...

details are driving me nuts!!!!!!!

Can you forward the email to another email address? The Annex A was found at the very bottom of the email past the French version.

Yes I was bending the rules a bit (since they don't ask for a signature just the name of the facility)...but in all honesty my photographs were better quality than any other photographs I have ever seen from a local pharmacy....That being said yes I took a risk but unfortunately no one here was willing to do it. Technically speaking my wife took the photos and we did it at a commercial photographer (CVS) (using their passport photo backdrop) and we just formatted it using the website and printed it via USB at CVS.

That being said make sure it is 5x7 cm because sometimes the specifications for Canadian passport photos vary (PR vs Passport is slightly different I hear...).

Just mailed it out via FedEx ground! If you are in the US make sure to include customs forms for the return envelope as well! FedEx will give you a sealed bag to put them in an tape to the return envelope as well. Cost me $20 each way for ground and estimated delivery is this Friday.

Mine was cut off too. The ONLY way I got around it was to print the ENTIRE email as a pdf and then print the pdf out. If you use Gmail that was the issue I had (the webpage viewer cut it off and didn't format it properly, but the PDF version looked normal). Copy and paste didn't work for me either. What I did was AFTER I got the PDF I copy and pasted the Annex A into Microsoft Word that way the Annex A was on 1 page by itself (had to adjust margins/box sizes to make it fit)

Thanks so much for the blank, I knew ours was cut off in the email!

All the built-in ways to convert the ENTIRE email into pdf is disabled on the CIC email for some reason, I can't figure out how to get around it. CIC mailed it to my husband's gmail and he forwarded it to my gmail...do you think we're screwed and need to give them an alternate non-gmail email and have them re-send?

Regarding the blank: I can't seem to copy paste the barcode that was included in our email, do you think a screen cap and insert into the blank annex A you gave would be good enough quality for scanning?

OOPS. I just realized I mailed mine out without the barcode....I don't think I noticed that when I first printed it out  Yes a screenshot + paste would do the trick. I think I'll be ok because they can find the application using the Application # and UCI # the barcode just makes it easier for them...they really don't make this easy do they?
