it's gonna be the same since you have to pay for the US visa ....plus you will avoid their ports.... good, and good luck

That means that they had made decision for the sponsorship. And that means that you are approve to sponsor your wife.

Thanks for your reply but I think they just updated in ECAS now, i am wondering when they would approve medical and background check. And how long that would take.

Here is my question.VOM email me Dec.2,2016 asking for additional pRoof of communication documenting from beginning and current develepment.The thing is we don't have any love letters,Postcard etc. The only thing that we have are messages from facebook recently and some posted from our facebook timeline.We've been bf/gf since dec. 2010 and when my wife left 2012 we are only communicating through viber,and facebook and skype the thing is Some of our message we're all gonE and can't recover it.We're not that kind of giving love letters and we don't care as long as we still keep our relationship strong.I already send the documents that they needed but not A lot of photos.Is there any chance that my application get Refuse?Is there any other way if that happens.Thanks for your help.

I think no. You should have explain why you don't have communication and you should have explain that you cannot recover the old messages before.

This morning I checked my eCASE and I found in the part of the sponsor that all the lines were erased, except the one it says that the request of RP has been received !!!
not far than yesterday I had 4 lines of writing !! Is there anyone who got this ?

It's finally all done for myself and my wife! The past Wednesday my wife received her passport back from the Ottawa office together with the COPR. We took a weekend trip to North Dakota and came back to land at the North Portal border crossing. My wife only had to wait a minute or two before it was her turn. It was a very efficient process - the immigration officer asked her the questions on the COPR document (have you ever been convicted a crime? Ever refused entry to Canada? Do you have any dependents not listed her?), asked her if all the information on the COPR was correct, and then asked for her current address. The immigration officer gave her some information on maintaining PR status and on obtaining citizenship. The officer congratulated her and left for a few minutes to process some paperwork. After returning, she congratulated my wife again, gave my wife her copy of the COPR, and told us to drive safe on our way back home. Everything took about 10 minutes and we were on our way back home.

I think it's the system probably under going maintenance or what. I have the same thing. So ironic, we are waiting for updates and here it is, instead of adding lines they removed some.. haha. I think, once we received SA there is nothing to worry about. Good luck everyone... We will make it all!
