It is too bad that you have to transit through US. The application fee alone is 160 US dollars. You also need to go to an interview at the US consulate. I would suggest you fly Manila-Hong Kong-Vancouver-Calgary, or Manila-Taipei-Vancouver-Calgary.

Wow 3mos.. some of i know is the same ...but did you experience on your ECAS sponsorship side is only 1line already..i just checked my ECAS and only 1line i have

Im hoping to hear good news....a lot of applicants only take 3mos and they got PPR already....

Just wanted to update you all that I checked the ECAS and there is a new row added for Sponsorship and shows "DECISION MADE", So since I am sponsoring my wife that means this is Sponsor approval only? I got the SA a while back, was this just an update from them? or decision made for my wife's application?

And I checked the MyCIC still no update Medical shows "Review in Progress" and Background Check shows as "Not Started".

Your help is appreciated thanks.

That means that they had made decision for the sponsorship. And that means that you are approve to sponsor your wife.

i think they just updated your approval... it is impossible that is an update for your wife! coz her background is not even started.
