Another update on my application this evening. Now my wife has been requested to send a RCMP Criminal Record Check, as she has been in Canada for more than six months.

Are you sure you are an August applicant?

I send in my PR application in beginning of Aug, 16. They send me AOR 3 weeks later. CIC requested some additional information, I forwarded by website but a week later. They email said confirm receipt.. hours later cic emailed me again saying dod not receive. So I send another few times off, a week+ later, cic confirm receipt. Oct 17, 16 they confirmed that my application was received in VO. So I believe I am August applicant.

This is your AOR2. The visa office will contact you if they need additional information or you might get PPR. where is your visa office?

VO Singapore. Yes I believe they require Police Clearance. So I am waiting for their official request letter so I can put together the paperwork to request for my police clearance. I did not write my name and DOB on my passport size photos. I am thinking maybe I should send them another set, yes?

Do you need the official request to obtain the police clearance? Can you just go ahead and request one in order to avoid delays in your processing time? I'm not sure about the pics. The visa officer might not be too picky. Buy that's just a guess. Can you send them an email and ask whether they require additional set? They might respond back.. you never know

Just a question , but I have been reading that people are getting requests to have their Medicals redone , and most of them don't expire for another 5 to 6 weeks , my husbands medical expires December 28th , Is it a bad sign that we did not get same Request to have his redone.... Online status says still in process since March 15 th 2016 , with no update and no Communication from our Lawyer or our VO :'(

No, you shouldn't be worried about that at all. It depends on the visa officer. They can decide to extend your medical exam results so you might not even get a request for remedical request.

Every case is different. You still have 2 months. You could hear a good news from them during this time period so don't stress about it

God is great, finally we have gotten our SA...got the email yesterday, I have never been so happy to see an email before. Jesus has done it,file has been transferred to my hubby's home processing office.I pray for more good news for everyone here. we shall all be home with our loved ones soon.
