Singapore VO. I believe they will request for Police Clearance, I plan to pay RRPR so as not to delay the process.

That's a good idea. It's good to submit all the required documents upfront to delay the process. Hope you hear a good news soon :)

medical: july 2016
app recieved: august 15
AOR1 : sept 3
SA: sept 14
AOR2 (VO-RP) : sept 20
ppr: :)
visa: :)

anybody with same timeline?

Follow the August spreadsheet. You will find other applicants with similar timeline to yours: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/172CtMXuP3NoGOoZwwInlewTd7g0RVvmMQKnjQe3jK9M/edit#gid=436397810

This is our timelines in terms of MyCIC and ECAS updates after we got the PPR. I am sharing these, so you can have an idea what to expect in your case :)

MYCiC update: Background check: in Process (October 12)
PPR: October 12 (We submitted our passport by a preventative. Passport was received by VO on October 17.)
ECAS update: Decision made on both sponsor and applicant's profiles (October 15)
Mycic update: application status changed to approved and the file is closed (October 19)
Passport was given to our representative on October 20.

On his visa, the date for visa issue is October 12!!! which is date of PPR. We originally thought, it would be October 19 since that is when they closed the file. So if you get your PPR, consider your application done. Do not stress about other updates as I did. ( I had one week of sleepless night as I was worried we will get an email from the VO to withdraw their decision!!!)

Good luck anyone :) Can not wait to hear about your good news soon :-*

Just now I check mycic... BC " In process" does it mean expect PPR soon?

And another thing I have already my TRV and plan to travel by end of November.
What if by that time I already have my PR, which visa I will be going to use?
Once PR approved , TRV isvoid?

We are on the same timeline and almost the same date of updates except for AOR2, ours received Oct 20th. I will be monitoring your posts... Good luck to us. :D :D :D

In process just means that they are looking at your file. It can be like this for months. Don't hold your breath ;)

When my background check changed to "in progress", we got the PPR after few hours. Look out for the email, you might be getting yours soon too :)

Hey aylar10,
Just out of curiosity what is the expiry date of your visa?
Does it reflect the date of your medical or is it a set number of days following its issue?

It's May 30, 2017, the expiry date of my husband's medical.

Ok, thank you...
I have typically read that it would be the expiry date, but also saw comments that it would be the expiry date + a week or three, and even that it was 3 months following the visa being issued if the medical didn't expire prior to that time.
Your news helps me plan a few things more accordingly.
So, genuinely, thank you.
And congrats on making it so fast.

No problem at all. Keep in mind if you have PCC, they might take that date into consideration. I believe whichever expires soon, they will take that date for your visa. My husband had two PCC, one was expiring in June 2017 and the other one in August 2017 (assuming they were both valid for one year). Therefore, they took the medical that was expiring in May. Hope this helps as well.?
Good luck with your application.. wish you all the best :)
