Guys plz share if anyone is having trouble linking their application to online account?
i can check the status by using "check your application status" tool but i m frustrated as i m unable to link my application >:(

as i can see application status then does it confirm tht my application is updated in the system??

Same here i can not link my application on MYcic it is so frustrating. I tried contacting technical support but they have not respond yet. I tried any possible combinations for linking but it always says no application

MyCIC is very sensitive to the information you enter. You entries must match EXACTLY to those in you app. Even an extra space may cause linking to fail.

I was able to link just using Family name, Given name and birthday. I copy and paste the info from my app into MyCIC. Also make sure you enter the town where you want to live in Canada.

We received AOR 2 from the Manila Visa Office on September 14 but didn't read it until today (my husband rarely checks his e-mail ???)

They asked for documents to be sent if we haven't provided them already. We already included all of them with our application except for one:

c. For Korea citizens:
Ø Birth certificate for yourself, your sponsor and all dependent children

We didn't include my (sponsor's) birth certificate, but only my passport scan. I'm assuming I must now scan and e-mail my birth certificate to Mania? Luckily I ordered a new birth certificate a few months ago because my parents couldn't find my original one at their home.

Hello! Just wanted to ask what email address did you send your birth certificate to manila embassy? And in what format? I forgot to send mine as well, i'm the sponsor. I didn't know that it is required as well. One more thing, who will send the additional documents? The sponsor or the applicant? Thank you so much!

SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS BY EMAIL:

We encourage that you submit documents by email to MANILIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. When submitting documents as email attachments, ensure that you follow these guidelines:
• Do not use an icloud domain or any file sharing websites
• Each document must be in PDF format (.pdf) and not exceed 2.0MB
• Each PDF file must contain only one type of document. If several documents/forms are requested, save each type of document separately. For example, if you were requested to submit completed IMM5406 Additional Family Information forms for yourself and your spouse, your completed form must be saved in one (1) .PDF file extension name and your spouse’s in another PDF file
• If your submission includes a cover letter, this must be saved separately in one (1) PDF file
• Documents must be readable and easy to view
• The file name of each PDF document must follow this format:
Application number<space>Last Name<space>Given Name<space>Type of Document

The Applicant should be the the sender of the document

Thank you! Do i need to put subject?

I did add the info exactly the way its required. As weekend is over in Canada, I will try to link it again today as I can't keep my fingers off frm it ;D

Now i am wondering if I made the account wrong :( Is there any specific information i should add to online account? i made a new account with my (sponsor's) email address now. before the account was in my husband's name. We add all sort of combinations for me and applicant.....nothing worked so far unfortunately :-X

I m wondering what if we don't link the application....Will we not receive correspondence via email? They should send SA by email just like the way they sent me AOR1.....right?

Luckily, Check application status gives us a glimpse of the processing however it is not that detailed. I give that to mycic or gcms notes for the detailed updates. They will eventually send you the SA email in our case my husband received SA vial mailbox. Are you waiting for your SA?
