just quick confirmation, did you used sponsor details or sponsored details ? Boz IMM 0008 is for sponsored not for sponsor .

For MyCIC, you use the PA's info. The "sponsored", as you word it.

Hey! Did you find an answer for this?

Or can someone answer if this is a problem?

I did the same thing but haven't submitted yet

In my opinion, I cannot see CIC rejecting the app because of this. However, if you have not submitted the app, just redo the form, it is not that much work.

Speaking of MyCIC, I was just able to link our application! WooHoo!!!

Details:

Permanent Residency
Family class (Spousal) - OUTLAND
Family Name, Given Name, Date of birth
City of birth (City, State) - as listed on IMM0008
Country of birth (USA)

Province, city (from IMM008)
Marital status
Number on app - 1.

Hi

Unless the person receiving the file had someone p*ss in their cornflakes that morning it shouldn't cause them to return the app.

At worst you'll be asked to provide an updated form at some point.

If you haven't submitted yet I'd just fix it now if I was you

After linking does it show any information about your application?

No, and I'm not expecting it to yet. Just got there Aug 26.

hi kloveg, its better to follow their instruction !

I am wondering, if the app has been assigned an application number and it is in the CIC system, does it not mean AOR1?

Wow, that's a very good question! We haven't had an official AOR1 email, but they go out in batches. I can choose to see my application through MyCIC, so maybe it is an early indicator of AOR1?

Also, the application status does say that it's "OPEN", so...

Hi everyone.

I have successfully linked my application to Mycic account. Yes they assigned a application number to my application.

If it's link to my CIC that means it's been accepted and soon applicant will get AOR1.

Hi
Application submitted on 27th august. Yet to received Aor1. It is possible to link before Aor1.
When you click on "link your application to this account" under option what you would like to do today. It will give you few options to retrieve your application in those options you select "Given name, family name and date of birth. Passport details and in number of applicant you put 1 . thats it system will retrieve your application if not try changing number of applicants as 2.
