I tried the Application Number and the same name appears on the ECAS, still was no luck. I will try again today or wait for few days this week.

if it doesnt work, can I call CIC to fix this for me ?

Try family name and application #, passport details, no need for birth city, just the place of destination and then your family number on my case we have no dependents so i labelled 2 = 1sponsor + 1principal applicant. I hope it works for you

Sept -16 applicant are getting AOR-1 email but not me ( 25 - 31 aug) :-[

Most probably, the officer who is dealing with some of the August applications has gone on vacation or sick leave, and there are other people assigned to September applications, that's why they're getting it sooner than some of the August applicants. Hopefully, everyone will get their AOR1 by the end of next week. I just don't know how long they're going to take to send thr SAs out and if they will respect that 32 days timeframe or not!

my application was received on 1st of september. looks like they have assigned same officer for application from last weeks of august and first week of september. 2nd week of september onwards is handled by someone else.

They received ours on August 30 - still no AOR for us?? I hope tomorrow is our day

We got notice that it was being sent on Sept 1st... and recieved the e-mail yesterday. So I count 22 days.
So maybe you can prepare things early... and remember to include a printout of the e-mail when sending the docs in.

Thanks for the info. HKVO sure is slow.

Mine was transfer on Sept 19, therefore it will be a while before HKVO send the email.

Hello everyone !

Just got our AOR1 yesterday.

Application received last week of august.

However I think our workflow will be slightly different since I am immigrating to Quebec.

There is an extra step where we have to get SA from Federal and Provincial level.

I called CIC yesterday and no luck with getting answers. The lady insisted that we wait 4 the online updates only. I told her there is no update there and her answer was that arranging 1 officer to post updates is very difficult at this point bcz they r very bzy and we should call back if we see no updates in 2 months

I checked processing times now and they r back to 29 days for SA ;D

If your file number change from a XFoooo to a Foooo, I believe that is AOR1. Mines did.

Same here. Aug. 31 they received our app. No AOR , can't link app , no ecas update. =sucks :'(

We sent our file on 26th August, so am guessing it would have reached by 30th August, but still no AOR and even on the CIC tool we cant see any update on the application. Can anyone confirm if before the AOR you could see your application status or did it only start coming in after that?

Any suggestive answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

No Its still the same file number XF

file received on 26 August

XF is a temp file number, when you get AOR1 the file number will change to F.
