Happy weekend August applicants! I hope we'll be getting some good news on Monday By the way, for those August app from MVO who had been in PPR stage esp. melizanne, do you have dependant?

Hi there no dependents on my case I think what really helped on our application was that we presented our case very briefly. We did not send hundreds of pictures or wrote paragraphs to explain our relationship. Our application consist only of 15page pictures, 3 photos/year from the beginning of our relationship till we got married. Our explanation of relationship was only 2-3 sentences that's it. We just figured out that passing hundreds or writing a novel about our relationship wont help the VO to evaluate our application. He/she might get bored reading your novel. So we just briefly discussed our relationship into less than 5 sentence... As much as possible try to help the VO as well. I think thats writing to much or providing to much will just confuse your VO. You dont need to elaborate all the fights you had in the past Just a tip for those who will apply in the future of course do not forget to pray and be patient

You can also set up a landing appointment at a CIC center (sorry, I'm not sure exactly about this process). However, I heard the wait for an appointment can be a bit long. But if you're planning to stay in Canada anyhow, it might be more convenient to do that. Maybe another person can come by and give you more info about that.

I just want to say that this forum is for the benefit for all members and visitors. We should all post in English so that everyone who interested in emigrate to Canada can understand how the process works.

I think it's absolutely fine when people get excited and congratulate each other in their own language!

btw the August spreadsheet has rows hidden by someone, i can't figure out how to unhide them, i hope that data isn't lost! How do we revert it to an earlier saved copy on google docs? the option to review revision history doesn't let me click on it under File...

OMMMGGG!!!! My wife's side on ECAS Got a third line!!

We received XXXX XXXX application for permanent residence on August 23, 2016.
We started processing XXXX XXXX application on November 14, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

In this case, the medical results were bumped to third line just like other applicants stated before.
This AOR2 came after I got approved on November 3rd, basically a week and half. Although the update on ECAS probably changed yesterday or today because I was checking everyday after the SA until I gave up hahaha

I know is a bit early but how long would it take for PPR after this?

I think it depends on the VO. HKVO started processing our app on Sept 19 and we are still in the background check stage.

SA - September 6th
Started processing - September 13th
VO - Ottawa!

I am feeling a bit discouraged seeing so many people with later application dates having their background check in progress

Same here I'm 25 August applicant , so far no updates and the background check is still 'not needed at this time'

Hopefully would be there any updates soon.

Hello Everyone!

Need your help to apply online for TRV for my wife.
we applied paper application in October and it got rejected.
planning to reapply online application this time.
we got married in march this year and applied for spouse PR in august in which we already approved for first stage(SA).
Now about TRV online application what supporting document i should provide?
My wife has no work history and she never travelled outside India.
My wife doesn't have any property or anything like that on her name.
So I am not really sure what other documents i can provide for her application.
Anybody in the same situation and got approved for TRV?
Really really need your help!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
