Congrats! I guess a couple of us August applicants got DM this weekend. ;D

Decision Made here as well ;D

Can anyone post a link to the next steps involved?

Thanks and good luck to those still waiting - be patient, it will come!

Man, I seen all of these DM's and I got excited and checked just now, but sadly still In Process. I am starting to worry now.

February 15, 2016 they requested fingerprints for Canada.
February 18, 2016 it was done electronically, and I am assume after asking the officer, that it is sent to the Ottawa office. Not sure what that means, but it was done. On February 23, 2016 I sent an emailing what was completed and wanted to know if they received it and if everything is fine. On March 8, 2016 I sent another email in regards to this again, but now being April 3, 2016 no response from the Ottawa office, I am starting to worry. I had 45 days to complete the fingerprinting, which up to this date only leaves me 10 days left to get it done if they did not get it. They say 20 days is the response time and I have not received anything. What to do next?

I know how you feel, after my FBI report mess up I had to email Ottawa numerous times before I got any response, and that was just to say they found my FBI report and they need nothing else. Then we got our MP involved, we talked to her Friday morning she said she would check into it as she thought it was a ridiculous wait time too. We didn't hear back from her Friday but Saturday I woke up to DM. I almost didn't believe it after seeing In Process for so long.
Not sure if the MP helped or not (we are hoping to hear from her tomorrow) but might be worth a try?
Good luck! I know how you feel right now, I was there too.

When you say MP you mean the Member of Parliament correct? And how do you contact this person and what do you say or ask to help find out what is going on with the application?

Yes, member of parliament. You can look online to see who the MP is in your area and their email address. I don't know exactly what my hubby emailed word for word but basically asking for help looking into our app as its been so long and people applying after us have already been able to land. We had emailed John McCallum before that with no response so we forwarded that email to our MP. When the husband is home from work I'll get the email he sent and I'll PM you it. I'm not saying it helped for sure but it was quite a coincidence that we got DM the next day.

If I, the principal applicant for PR, address to our MP the situation of my PR application will that be alright or does my girlfriend who is my sponsor have to contact him?
