Thanks everyone! My wife authorized someone to handover her passport to the visa office; should know the results within 5 to 7 days.
Our Ecas status was also changed to 'Decision Made', but it still shows three lines. Going to have to wait and see what comes next...

Thanks for the reply :D

On the PR Side
It says IN PROCESS

There are 3 lines now.

Application Received
We started processing your application.
Medical Result has been received.

My PR side went to IP the day after SA, funny thing is it still says IP for Spousal side too. CIC either is lazy or cannot update ECAS properly. I think that IP now a days doesn't mean what it use to?

That's awesome, congrats! My fiancé's ecas status was changed to Decision Made as well, still stuck at 3 lines and we haven't received any correspondence regarding the decision. Fingers are crossed ...

Me too, I'm guessing we will be late Winter or early spring. It seems a lot of Ottawa peeps that applied in May received DM this week so we may have another 3-4 months. Hopefully not longer but sooner would be better!

Carr1 seems like Ottawa slowed down a bit.. Spreadsheet suggested about 6 months from filed to DM but maybe it is more like 7 months now. December slowdown is not going to help. I was kinda hoping I would be one of the lucky ones to get DM in 4 months (suppose I'm still hoping). Anyway, we are both August 11, 2015 application filed... Good luck.

I see that, what a bummer!
I'm trying hard not to check ECAS every day :) I'm pretty lucky as my husbands medical insurance just agreed to take me on without OHIP and I have a one year visitor record now so I'm not so desperate for PR as I get to live with my husband while I wait, I'm very fortunate. The only thing I can't do is work, I'm super bored all day but then I think of all the people on here that can't even see their spouse daily and remember how lucky I am. I wish everyone a speedy process.

I see you got SA way before me so maybe you'll get PR quicker too!

any PPR applicant for manila visa office?

I have read and heard that you can work as long as it doesn't involve Canadian clients. Mostly online.

I've read so many varying things on working online that my spouse and I decided it wasn't worth it for me. I really just want to work to get out of the house and meet people as I have no friends in Canada they days get a bit long and lonely. I tried volunteering but was then told I couldn't there as it could interfere with my PR app. The lines of what we can and can't do seem so muddy I just gave up.

I work online. I work pro-bono for now, but it allows me to build my portfolio. I am close to be able to apply for a studio here in Canada. So, chin up and never give up. And although you are not outside of the house, in some way shape or form, we are your friends now :D.
