I was hoping that I would get on here and see that something has changed for you.
My FBI check expired and my medical too well into this process, lol. I believe it's as long as it's in their possession before the expiry date typically they won't request a new one. They may though. I really hope you hear something soon!

Unfortunately no change. It's very demoralizing to keep checking and seeing no change. It's very tough living in this limbo status. I think the universe is testing our patience levels!

Finally, 12 months after submitting our application CIC have changed our status to 'in progress ' and have requested proof of the sponsor living in Canada. Can we send these documents by email? The email from CIC doesn't ask for originals.

Hopefully this is now the last few steps to DM!

Interesting kkkJo, I received request for re-medical on the 17th and then a following email yesterday as well which requests proof that I reside in Canada Same case worker or what? And yes you can email them.
