Maria, have you received DM? (I see by your post if I'm reading correctly, I haven't been on here in forever it seems.)

This is getting carried away, were almost into July & it's been ALMOST 11 months. Why the hell are August applications getting skipped??!
So tired of waiting...

Yes I got DM June 23rd, COPR June 24th. Looks like it was approved June 18th though, ECAS was late on the DM part.

There is no order to their madness! .. It truly is sad that they have skipped so many. Many later than me also got approved before me. You should contact your MP. I like to think all the waves I made helped but who knows really.

i watch august and September for DM, as our application was received at the VISa office on Sept 2nd. like many, we are stuck in "medical received" they said they are still doing the background checks. how long could this take, almost 2 months now. good luck to all in a speedy process of your applications.

We contacted our MP and went and signed the Information release forms today. Hopefully this will help!

CIC website changed to Decision Made this morning!

Anybody know how long it takes to get your COPR and whether they send it electronically or via regular mail? I'm a little nervous because my medicals expire Saturday and I have no idea how long I have to land/ move! And I'd like to give my work a heads up too ???

Hey congrats!!!... Dont worry by the time you saw DM in ECAS the COPR was probably already printed and they do extend the medical expire date.

I saw DM on June 23 but my COPR was actually printed on June 19th. I got it June 24th but I live in Ottawa so that might have helped.


The actual DM date (not ECAS) was June 18th.

My COPR expires in 1 year and my medical was also extended to next year.

Still waiting for our MP office to get back to us. We received the notes we requested (finally) and there was no news. Still waiting.

Checked ecase this morning... DECISION MADE!!!! It says it started processing our app on June 29th...lol

Now what do I do?! LOL, I actually went online to update my mailing address changing it from US to Canadian address as my parents just sold and moved out of their house (the address I was using)..
