Do we need to mention that he waiting for his permanent residency ? Or we just put visiting ?

I have extended my visitor record twice since I applied for PR. Provide proof that you have applied. I provided the fee receipt, sponsor approval letter. I also provided my medical result (this may be mandatory or optional it depends on your citizenship).

In the supporting document I detailed the situation; that I am waiting for PR, I am just a visitor and my wife is fully supporting me. I showed that I have money in the bank and that I have a job offer/employer waiting for me to gain PR status.

Any August applicants receive there visa yet? This is day 26 for us since the embassy said all was finalized and stated visa package would be shipped shortly. All we can do is wait . Good luck to all

Are you DM already on ECAS?

Yeah ecas has been decision made since match20. They sent my MP an email stating it was finalized and visa package would be shipped shortly. Been almost a month but no visa package yet

Got IP yesterday.CEM called my husband to inform regarding PPR. They sent an email for PPR with visa validity until July 11.

Good news everyone! Checked ECAS today and it FINALLY changed......I was expecting to see "in process" but it skipped that update and went straight to DM! They started processing my application April 16th, 2015. Things are moving! Good luck August applicants! ;D

Originally sent my outland application May 2014, then received application back in the mail August 2014 stating I was missing a form, we were not missing a form as they were asking for a form that was for OUTLAND application. We updated forms and sent application off again August 2014 . Didn't hear anything till January after we had got some polatition involved and CIC told us they had lost my application but had found it. Then we got an email a few days later saying my husband had been approved as a sponsor. This was January 2015 now they say my paperwork has been sent to Ottawa and could take another 15 months. This whole process has been a nightmare, someone from the MLA office told us that CIC is working at 13 % efficiency. In the meantime my life is on a desk somewhere and I have to keep applying for visitor permits. Some folks get really lucky and get it done pretty fast. I read so many things on here that make me feel sorry for all of us.
