Yeah, anyone have another number other than the 1888 #? My husband waited forever to get someone and then the automatic machine hung up on him...

To my husband too . Only if we could get any information it would be easier to wait . It is been 63 days now . Really frustrating !

Guys my status shows that they have started processing my file on october 10....so when should i expect an sa

I checked my CIC online status and previously it said 'Application Received', now it says 'no record'. My file was recently transferred the Ottawa office. Anyone experienced this? Is this just because it's going through an 'update of status' and will be okay tomorrow?

Any news for those waiting on SA? Seem's there is just a small portion of us still waiting. Checked online with my receipt number and it said they couldn't find it... So just wondering if maybe they haven't even begun processing it, or we did something wrong. Lol, either way..so tired of waiting, guess we'll call again and go from there. Good luck to those few of us waiting, and congrats again to all who received!

Hi , when you check status , do you enter last name and DOB of sponsor or applicant? I am the applicant and my husband has sponsored me. We are still waiting for SA , updated application was received by CIC on Sep 15

I am in the same boat. Just called CIC and was told the same. The file hasn't been looked at. They received my re-sent application on Sept.29 even though it was originally received on August 6. Anyway the guy at CIC told me that it's probably been filed as received Sept. 29 and will be processed accordingly. Too bad because they sent our original app back to us requesting forms that were not outdated. Such is life. Keep waiting and go on with life. Good luck !!!!

P.S. The call was answered in about 10 minutes. Not bad and the guy was very polite and helpful

Same thing happens when I use my receipt number. What works (for me) is my id number. Not sure why the receipt number doesn't work, but when I use my id it shows that I'm in process.
