AUGUST 2014 OUTLAND Applicants

Yeah I don't feel too good right now. Now anyway I have some questions. In the explanation letter they sent me they said that we all applications need to have form 1344 August version. That we didn't have so I will update it. But the letter also says 0008 June version. We DID have that version included. Also 5669 December 2012 version. We had that included. So anyway my question is why would they say we needed those forms when we included 2 of those 3? Do they just send a pre-done e-mail to with all the returned applications?

They sent me 2 letters . One was a generic letter stating what versions should be there for each form. The other letter stated exactly the one form which was of version earlier than Aug and mentioned to send the updated form along with this letter. The generic letter says your application is returned but they do not return . They did not return my application. I just re-sent the requested form along with the letter they emailed. Did you receive two letters in the email?

After reading a lot of posting regarding what CIC does, it is hard to be surprised when this happens. That being said, it's all about people's lives that they affect and they should have a tad more compassion, of course not all the officers.

A great conclusion to my dilemna today. I just checked and NONE of our forms were outdated. I guess some idiot who knows nothing at CIC just sent our application back for no reason. NICE. Good luck to the rest of you.

Hello everyone! I would like to ask about the proof of relationship to sponsor, I'm planning to send our chat messages on skype but it is in our native language but there are some english words too like saying I love you to each other. Should i have the non english conversation be translated to english?

We received the same email, one of the two letters has sponsor name also temporary file number, asked us to send in up to date form within 45 days. The generic letter did make me worried when i first read it, thought they were returning my application. Anyway i havnt heard anything from them since i sent out requested forms....anyone has any news?

The normal process is for CIC to simply ask for the new form...but who knows what is normal for them. I think the majority of people just had to send in the new form and did not have their entire application sent back to them, which is a pain as I think you might lose your place in line...but if there is a temporary file number on the letter, you still might be in luck when you send it all back with the letter they enclosed and highlight the file number. Hopefully you get to send it to the new filing address.
