Congrats! How do you find out when they receive it? Ours should be reaching their office tomorrow--should I keep an eye out for an email?

I sent it by courier so the courier updated the status that the package had been delivered.

Now I have a question - does anyone have experience with it?
Because I had sent it via courier, I had sent it to the following address: Courier address (no public drop-offs)
2 Robert Speck Parkway, Suite 300

For the other addresses, it distinguishes between Spousal outland and inland application http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/infORmation/offices/canada/mississauga.asp

I didn't think to mark mine outland or inland (I am in Canada and posted it from within Canada) until AFTER I have sent it. Would it end up in the right place? I don't want it to be submitted to the Inland pile. :o

Does anyone have any experience? Thanks.

Any August outland applicants out there?
As a sponsor of my wife, I have sent her application on 6th August and received on 8th as indicated by FedEx tracking. We both are outside of Canada right now.

We sent in our package last week and it was received August 25th. Now the waiting begins!! :)

The guide says to use this address if you send by courier:

If you send your application by private courier:

Sponsorship: (type of sponsorship*)
Case Processing Centre – Mississauga
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

I'm sure they will send it to the right place. Your checklist for ouland would be IMM 5491 and inland would be IMM 5443.

I recently mailed my package to Mississauga. I just found out that we sent IMM1344 dated June 2014 version and CIC has posted a new IMM1344 August version. Is there any one else who did the same mistake? One person posted they got an email from CIC to re-send IMM1344 within 45 days as the version they used was older than August 2014. I hope it does not delay the application process

I'm in the same boat. Began the application in July and didn't realize it changed in August. Signed all documents in early August and sent it off.

I hope they don't hold it up and use some common sense. I prepared the new form today and got it all signed just in case they ask for it...I can courier it out the very minute I get a request from CIC. Unfortunately, I don't want to just send it in on its own as it probably hasn't even been opened yet.

Yes, even we will do the same and would recommend others to do so. Once we get an email from CIC, we can mail the updated forms immediately . As per the "Updated IMM1344- August 2014" , they received email from CIC. We need to wait to get an update from CIC.

Been reading this forum for a while and its been very helpful. I came across this thread this morning just a week to late. We sent our application last week and I didn't even know there was a new form. They must realise people take time to put the application together. Its typical that its the form that requires both signatures. >:( Are they sending the whole application back or just requesting an updated form?

Yeah, same is with us. We have to wait till we hear from LVO to send them new IMM1344 or any other new forms.

I sent the sponsored part to my partner thru DHL last August 4 with the signed IMM 1344, June 2014 form which unfortunately I signed July 7, never bothered to check the CIC website and he mailed the whole package too Mississauga last August 21 and was received August 21. Reading the posts here I will courier the updated form to my partner so it's ready when they request it. The only thing that scares me is they will return the whole package.

I'm so glad if that is the case for all of us who submitted the old form.
