I sent ALL the updated forms the first time and they still sent my application back to me requesting updated forms. I sent the app back which they received Sept. 29 and now I guess I'll have to wait also another 2 months. It's quite a joke just not funny.

Hey guys, i need ur suggestion i sent my application on july 21 and cic requested me to send the new forms so i sent them on sep 16....so wat do u people suggest should i contact cic or should i wait...my lawyer says we can't do anything we just have to wait

I think you have to wait and calculate your new wait time from the day your updated forms were received by CIC. I don't think they will be put back on the waiting list from when you sent them the first time. That's what seems to be the trend. It's like starting over unfortunately.

I just received sponsor approval today. Sent application August 12 2014 using old form. Received request for new form on September 5. Sent new form for delivery September 12, 2014. Received approval today, October 15, 2014. 64 days from original application; 33 days from application on new form. Incidentally, our application is a conjugal partner, opposite sex, and files to Manila VO. I wish we could hope for better than posted results in Manila.

Congrats! Yours are so similar to my timeline, but I haven't receive anything yet. CIC made me feel so bad.

I think with all the fiasco surrounding new forms the wait time will drop closer to one month. I got approval 33 days after delivering the new forms.

no, I did not contact. I was going to give them the 80% from the time of the re-submission but got the e-mail sooner.

The medical results are usually transmitted electronically now and your application has the electronic link to those results. Presumably this is good news in that they were able to match the files.

Our application was also received on August 25th, we too haven't heard anything yet, still waiting. My guess would be next week. Keep me posted on your timeline since our's are so close. I am US app as well, along with no issues. So we shall see.
