After a lot of hurdles and changing of dates, my test is scheduled for March 21st (Letter dated March 6th)

Not sure if Montreal is slow or just fustrating. I applied Aug 1st file sent to montreal office Dec17 still nothing, while some ine applied in Oct and got the test invite and my friend applied in Nov and is done test and oath l.
I'm confused and a bit angry

If this makes you feel better, I applied early July and did not receive anything yet. Someone here applied from Montreal in June and is still waiting for test.

App recvd=>Aug 29
Processing => Oct 29th
AOR letter Booklet received: 25-Nov-14
Trans. from Ott. to Scarborough office=> don't know
Test and Interview: 18-Mar-15 (letter received on 9th March)

My Ecas is still showing processing.
I will not be able take the exam on 18-March as I have plan to go to Orlando on march break. Anybody have experience changing the exam date? An school of thoughts guys?

After all that wait, are you willing to put your vacation first before the test? Would you regret not taking the test, as scheduled, when you are re-scheduled 2-3 months down the road?

Got test invitation yesterday in mail.. Montreal office. Be patient

You can found some posts where people that asked to changed the test or oath date got RQed or took them several months of additional waiting.

A friend of mine had changed the test date and she had to wait 8 more months.

I would change my vacations.

In my friend's case (January 2014), they took note but they didn't give her a new date right away, she had to wait for another letter.

Maybe now it's different, as you said, call them and see what they say.

That's unfortunate.. But I strongly advice you to reschedule ur holiday and appear on test day.. As others posted on this forum previously, rescheduling could takes months and possibly trigger an RQ.

Maybe now it's different, as you said, call them and see what they say.

Yap, its still the same. I just called and they told that they cant reschedule it. they can only make a note against my application saying that I am not appearing. Then I would have contact local office to get a new date.

I have decided not to reschedule. we will fly back from Orlando to appear the exam, and then fly back on the same date! more money

With that effort you are taking, I think you should let the officer know in a harmless gentle way that you wanted to be responsible and decided that you would rather do it this way...they will notice for sure in a good way ( although I know you also are having to spend more...) Hang in there !
