A quick update:

Received the test invitation just now.. What a pleasant surprise!

09th January @ Scarborough.

We didn't expect it so soon...I guess there are many more to follow me here soon...

All those in waiting, wish you a very fast test invites and happy holidays.

AOR : Oct 28th via email( I never got the email)

Ecas Active: Dec 12th with receive status
Received line disappeared: Dec 16

Test Invite: hopefully soon

Aside from C000 application number prefix what are the other prefixes that have been issued so far?.

asagalen, I don't know what the format of other application numbers are; but from the comments on this page and others, I realized the C000 is the new format.

Reported here are the following patterns:
C00000X - five zeros, first resolved; e-cas active about two weeks ago
C0000XX - four zeros, next activated on e-cas ...& so on
C000XXX - three zeros

I don't think all folks with email AOR and C00000xxxx type application nos can see their e-CAS even though they applied in June/July/Aug.

Some people in this category who reported seeing something (a sampling of people I am sure) seem to be from GTA and Montreal. So automatically you tend to wonder if there is "something going on" in terms of them moving these places fast EVEN FOR e-CAS update ?

But maybe not ? Or I don't know...

So I guess in summary, theres still loads of people who with email AOR and C00000xxxx type application nos who still cannot access e-CAS.

One couldn't say 100% if ALL email AOR people in GTA / Montreal who applied around July - Sep can definitely see their e-CAS now.

WAIT ? I guess :'(

I called CIC again. The agent was so polite and patient. He told me I cant do any action and you should send Sydney them a letter. They might have returned your application. the bottom-line they cant do any thing and I should contact Sydney office.

If I could call them on your behalf I would... They keep telling people about application might have been returned... That is crap... They would have returned it within a month.... They need to send sydney some fast track thing on their end notifying them that your application was received at this date and they have already passed that date they are now in October and you have sent your from August... In other words why haven't they opened your application yet since they now opening October.... Nothing has been sent back. Try sending them an inquiry again and a letter. You need to tell that rep that yur application wud have been returned withing a month. Tell them you know of similar cases where they agent took their receipt & tracking# and send it off to sydney and they locate their application and uploaded it in days..

Did you send a case specific query as I suggested earlier? If not, send now with all details you have like Receipt No., CP tracking, client ID etc. etc. which can help tracing it. It might take two weeks and/or you may send an email query as suggested by some others but I don't have the email address.

Wondering whats what!!

The first letter we received --AOR with study guide -- have only two numbers: Client ID and Receipt number,
but the second letter -- test invite -- have three no.s: File no., Case ID and Client ID. So I think the file no. is not there in AOR(print).
