CIC recieved my application for citizenship grant on ---- and the person who recieved the regiestered mail signed it with --. It has been --- and I have not recieved back anything from CIC. I want to know the situation of my applcation please.

the second one if you have an immigration consultant you need to put his ID. if you dont, keep it empty

I do not the the receipt number coz my lawyer did that for me.

Ive just seen that they replied to my email within 2 days. Not the specific case inquiry which they reply after 10 days!

Your request is being processed. We’ll contact you as soon as your file will be ready for the next step in the process.

So it took them 3 months and a half to start processing my application. Thas why Iam telling you to wait until January!

You have to wait and wait. Evantually you will get something from them.


As many people say here, no news means good news.

If you have any problem with your App, they should have sent it to you within the first six weeks!

Some people from different forums declared that their applcaations were lost!

Here in this forum, some people like me were affraid that their applications were lost, by at the end we have files with CIC now.

I know its confusing and stressing and the idea of lost application is very frustrating.

Anyway wait and you will get something.
