Yes but different destination. She did mention that she visited the forum but did not post anything. Anyway, she and her hubby both received the email from Manila VO this morning

Apps Sent: Aug. 7, 2013, AOR: Aug 8, 2013, File Transferred to CEM Aug. 8, 2013, Sponsorship Approval: Sept 4, 2013, MED done: June 10, 2013, Sent request for GCMS notes yesterday MAy 14, 2014...PPR: May 15, 2014...CEM asks for Appendix A, Passports, CENOMAR of my eldest son, and death certificate I'll add to the written explanation why on the BC of my youngest son he's the third...All praise and glory to God...

I will continue to pray for all of us...

I caved! I emailed them just now, hopefully they will respond before the weekend. I hope it wasn't too outrageous. I emphasized that my husband will have limited contact w me starting next week an we would like to know before this happens. Hope nothing bad comes from this! Here's what I wrote....


"I am writing to request an update on my application and the documents providing proof of my intent. As written in the documents my husband,****, who is a member of the Canadian Armed Forces will be sent to **** for a military contract next week. We would like to have an update before he leaves for **** since then we will have limited contact based on his schedule. We have been optimistic that we will be reunited soon, upon approval of my PR status. With **** in the Canadian Military, he makes great sacrifices for his country and we understand that we may spend time apart (reluctantly) but we only wish to be granted the opportunity to live together as husband and wife. We hope to hear back soon.

I'm not religious, but I am spiritual. And I pray everyday not only for my app to be completed, I pray for each person who remotely touched my file. I pray for everyone who feels forgotten about after seeing many people approved in much less time. But now, I'm going to pray for all of us August people ... Pretty sure we've been separated and waiting long enough. It's our time to see positive results!!
