Ok, so here is my question. Does everyone eventually have literally send in their passports? Or just people from some countries? I'm American, and will need it for driving to see my husband. They have scanned it enough times while I've been crossing that I wouldn't think they would need it.... but I was just curious.

Hi katester,

I believe people from visa waiver countries are only required to submit photocopies of each page of their passport along with Appendix B. As an American passport holder I don't think you will be asked to submit your passport.

AOR - Nov 4, 2013. Yay!

We also got a request to redo our Schedule A from the time my husband was 18 (instead of just the last 10 years). What's up with that? Has anyone else been asked for this?

When we were redoing the form back many years, we realized we didn't include in the education section (question 7) a short period of time when my husband was in a different post-secondary institute. Yikes! Does anyone have an opinion if this will cause us problems? We are going to include it now and write a letter of explanation of how we forgot to include it the first time.

I just collected my COPR letter from the Sydney VO - woot woot!

Fingers crossed for everyone who is waiting. I am sure it won't be long now. Hang in there and keep the faith.

What is the COPR letter? Is it the passport with the visa? Or a message that they have issued the visa?

Australia is a visa exempt country so it was a letter with the COPR details that are to be presented to immigration when you land in Canada.

If you are from a country which requires a visa the COPR letter will accompany your passport with the visa... As far as I know.

Today I got refusal for my spouse TRV (Temporary Resident Visa); I applied for her PR and got sponsorship approval in August 2013 and the application forwarded to Ankara in August. I was wondering if anyone of you has had the same experience as me in terms of TRV refusal after sponsorship approval. Should I apply again for her TRV? or should I wait for her PR application? I even bought the ticket for her Sad that is really sad. Any help feedback would be appreciated.

My passport arrived today with the visa. :D :D :D

Congrats Morrigan and PaddyO, wish we'll receive ours soon too...

Though my husband is back to good health again, I just can't help not to worry about him 'coz he's alone at home most of the time especially at night. I keep praying to God to bless the people of CEM that they will work by heart now for all of us...I pray that what happened in Tacloban City will be an eye opener that we just don't know what the future holds, so time with our families matters most to all of us...

I really pray that they may look at our application not only by eyes and by mind but rather by HEART in realizing their goal to reunite families...

God bless all of us who are dying to be with our loved ones all the time...

I speak blessings to all of us :) :( :)

I totally feel the same for everyone, for we will never know what is going to happen in the coming days. We should all be reunited with our loved ones soon enough so we can finally enjoy unlimitedl time with them... :)
