Here is my story:
I'm from Quebec, and my boyfriend is from Germany. We applied in August 2013. CIC received the documents August 2nd. I was accepted for sponsorship August 22nd. My boyfriend received his CSQ in the end of september, now the documents are in Vienna and we are waiting... waiting... waiting....
I wish all a lot of luck... If we can support each other :)

Sorry to hear about that . I pray god that you'll come out of this very soon. In one of your posts you said your wife is a canadian citizen in that case cic may be interested only in her return once pr is approved and she might have submitted her intentions to return.
In my opinion cic need not know about the where abouts of a canadian citizen but ill leave for experts ,in case she gave any uae number try making it as roaming incase.

I guess i will include myself here also since i consider my self as an august applicant. I will be keeping tabs here and see if everyone of us gets our ppr/dm/visa etc and see if we can help each other on sharing our ideas here.

Hi guys! Just a random question, if one has received his/her visa already, how soon should he/she leave? When does it expires usually? Thanks!

I think the embassy will tell you in a letter or email when will the visa will expire. and she should leave before it expires.

Trust me it might be long, my vo is Kingston Jamaica. Hoping iT isn't though.

Ok, so here is my question. Does everyone eventually have literally send in their passports? Or just people from some countries? I'm American, and will need it for driving to see my husband. They have scanned it enough times while I've been crossing that I wouldn't think they would need it.... but I was just curious.
