If i want to knw the status of my application...are GCMS notes really helpful or the updates on E-case is enough ??

I mean what info does GCMS notes give us.. that r not provided on the E-case ?

And the $30 that is to be paid for GCMS notes are for 1-2 months or till I get my passport back ?

Congrats to everyone who has gotten their SA and YAAAA that the strike is over!!! My husband got his notification that the VO in Pretoria has received his application September 26 and it shows that Medicals have been received.

Yup, my SA got approved and I'm still waiting for the message 'Medicals received'. Makes me nervous it hasn't been updated yet as I had sent in my husband's medical results with the initial application to Mississauga. Anybody have any idea when this will be updated?

My guess is for new delhi applicants it will take sometime to get updated. My friends who applied in June and July still haven't got medical updated in ecas. So I think its ok for now !

but applicants for other visa offices got theirs updated !

Medical results received will show up in your ECAS once they have matched the electronic submission sent in by the panel physician to your file

Thanks for your reply cdnmom. I called the panel physician to ensure that they did indeed electronically submit the medical results to CPP-O shortly after the medical exam - and they did! Wonder why it takes CPP-O that long to match up the UMI# with UCI# or Case#. Here's to waiting.....

Any record regarding my information that I have given. How was that possible?my application was submitted.

Hi!

I'm sorry to hear that unfortunate incident. But may I ask how did you send your application to CPC-M? Because if you've used courier or thru Canada Post, they have their own tracking system and you can check who received your application. If you still have your receipt with you, you can use the tracking no. specified in the receipt. And then you can email or call them that this certain person received your application.

In my case we used Canada Post and a person named Bud Jamal received our application and it was dated and signed by him.

If you used canada post, you can check thru their personal tracking service. Here's the link
http://www.canadapost.ca/cpotools/apps/track/personal/findByTrackNumber?execution=e1s1

The tracking number is in the receipt of payment when you paid for the delivery service. If you successfully entered the tracking no. you can see the date and time it arrived in CPC-M and the one who received the package from the Canada Post.

I hope you get a reply from them soon. ^_^
