My ecas status updated to "Medical results have been received."
Is this just a random update or it means something?

I also received that 2 weeks after SA. It may be possible that your VO has already matched the proof of your medicasl that you submitted with the application and the medical results from your accredited physician/ clinic.

Yeah, I agree. And that they will or might have already proceeded in having security background checks for the PR applicants which I think is taking them longer to do.

O well, all we have to is wait wait wait...

Do you have tracking number of your documents? Did you check atleast if it was delivered to CIC?

Got our Sponsor approval along with file transfer, September 13. indeed, you are correct mrsalvaro. my husband checked his spam folder and it was there. CPC sent the email last saturday. thanks mrsalvaro for the suggestion to check the spam folder. likewise, thank you for updating me on the spreedsheet.it is God's will that husband and wife live together happily ever after. Hi!
I already added you the spreadsheet Icecreamed. And welcome to the thread.

You should try calling CIC to inquire on the status of your application. On an average, SA takes 4-5 months but in your case it's beyond the processing times already.

There is also a possibility that the SA will be sent to you thru regular mail , so you should check the sponsor's form if an email was provided there. It will add up to a no. of days for delivery if that's the case.There are a few June applicants who received their SAs thru regular mail but that was during the peak of the PAFSO strike.

And CIC communicates through the sponsor's email addres for the AOR and SA.

By the way, can you please provide me the date of youe medicals and where you're bound to in Canada?

Yes, the principal gets his/her own UCI no. when the application is already received at the VO.

I hate that Kingston is moving so slow, i should gotten my second AOR already.

Our VO doesn't normally send the 2nd AOR. We would only know that our visa is somehow ready to be issued if they request for our passport which takes on an average of 4-6 months after SA.

In the July thread, the fastest VO so far is Sydney because there is someone that already has " In Process" on his ECAS. And also most applicants under New Delhi VO are recently being requested for their passports which is normal for them as they start processing on Stage 2 of the application.
