Hi - I sent in our outland (Manila) application end of January. Waiting (hoping) to have my SA any day now. Looking at the spreadsheet here it appears that not one of the applicants via Manila have received even an AOR from there to date. Is that correct, i.e. is everyone updating their status? Going on six months after SA's and NO AOR's from Manila VO yet? That's not encouraging if true. Hope to hear from some of the Manila applicants...! (and hope you get some news/progress soon!)

You are correct, Manila sends no AOR.Right now PPR is coming at about 10 months wait and I thought CEM was one of the quicker Outland VO's to process. Not any more unfortunately.

Thanks for the update Step. Not too encouraging but good to know. Maybe they got behind after putting the typhoon cases on priority? Patience needed here that's for sure....all the best to all Manila applicants!

Maybe Yolanda but highly doubt there would very many apps that got priority.
I think the big slowdown came with the strike last summer, apps piled up on them.
There was about a 3 month period with no PPR's, maybe workers took an extended Christmas break.
Who knows, wait and see what unfolds from now on.

I too am still waiting for any movement. However, checking it daily is not helping with my anxiety over this!

We were asked to pay my Right Of PR Fee....which we did! I'm hoping this is a good sign that things are moving along smoothly. They also requested updated income statements for my husband. However those will have to wait a week or two (military). They are requesting "bank statements or pay stubs ect.)

So would his income tax statement be adequate?? I have that in my hands and can send that ASAP....but actual pay stubs or bank statements would have to wait until he is not doing drill or out in the field.

ECAS updated to "In Process" with "started processing application on March 11, 2014".

Hopefully the wait won't be too long for the next status update and that the next news is positive.

For me the "medical results have been received" message was always there when I clicked the "Application Received" link, right from the first time I was able to log into ECAS.

I just want to ask if the sponsor is not eligible, is it likely that the sponsored person will be ask for an interview and then be refused then we can appeal. My husband was not eligible and we were waiting for the Canadian Embassy Manila to give us a final result then we can appeal. Our application was forwarded Dec 16, 2013 to CEM.

OK guys Happy to see August moving forward.Can any one help me how do you recieve you Passport Request its done through Regular Mail or Emails.

I have not described my Mail Address as i dont have any Postal code in UAE and address delivery is not available in UAE.
I have being communicating through emails successfully but will i Get the passport request through email or Mail ,if mail i wont recieve it.

E-Mail is CIC's preferred mode. If they only have one way to contact you safe to say e-mail for PPR.

Finally, and thanks to almighty God "Al7md Lelah" we got decision made today Mar 17th, 2014.
