Hey "shakeadn " my visa also received letter from the NDVO on 19 Sep, and I also applied on 8th Aug..so we have the same dates of processing , how much fees did u paid while applying, I guess if you paid fill i.e 1040, then I guess u don't have to pay anything, just need to submit the passport with the letter...let me know if u get any info on this..my wife will be sending her passport on Monday. Seems like things are moving faster now, not sure how much time it takes for the visa..when NDVO already have passports of people from starting of this year..its confusing.

Now we have to look for the refund! lol

Hello Talvinder, Yes we have exactly the same timeline. We have already paid 41040 while filing the application!!! Oh god we paid $490 OVER! Dang!!!
Now we have to look for the refund! lol

Hi guys my wife applied for me on 13 aug file recieved by them on 14 aug and she called the call centre they said we recieved ur file on 15 th but till now dey have not send me or my wife any email regarding dis.. When will I get to know about my file is it approved or not..????? Will dey send anything on my mailing address in India ?? Should I contact the post office
??? Plz help me confused a lot and tensed alott plz help me

I got the PPR from NDVO on September 19th and we saw it now! Yay

Also in the letter they are asking for "Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident fee to our Mississauga office by your sponsor". I need to check how to get this paid. Any member if already paid please let me know the procedure.

Hello all, my wife just received an email to submit her passport to the Visa office, feeling happy, i applied on 8th Aug, seems like things are moving faster now, fingers crossed. not sure hoe much time the New Delhi Visa office might take..but i am so hopeful now

Hello love bal, did you check the email in spam folder? We have seen few cases where CIC's email went directly to spam folders and applicant had no idea about the case status. If not, please check. Hope you already got the approvals

Thanks Asim for the concern. We have already paid online the required fee of $1040 while filing the application. We were just making sure we dont have to pay anything more. However I ended up paying more and now in process of getting a refund

You dont have to pay any thing except 1040 dollars which you have already done... ;D

Just wanted to know is there any difference between Police clearance certificate and Police verification certificate. I submitted the PVC with my file, not sure if its the same like PCC, please help

Hello Talvinder, while applying to PCC I went on local police official website and I only found "Police Clearance Form" there is no PVC form listed. What your PVC says? My PCC states "Applicant has not come to any adverse notice during his stay". Guess if says something like this then you should be OK but please confirm it from other sources.

My doubt is, how can she is send the already sent documents. I have already sent the fees receipt ($1040) and PCC along with the application. Please help

In order to expedite the processing of your application, we are requesting that you provide the
following as soon as possible:
• Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in Mississauga by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.
• Submission of police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.
• Submission of original passport along with any old expired passports for you and your accompanying family members. The picture in the passport for a child under 6 years of age must have been taken within the last 3 years. The picture in the passport for a child between the ages of 7 and 18 must have been taken within the last 5 years.
