It seems very few August applicants have been added to the table. We already have 2 test dates for September applicants!!

If you have applied in August and are not in the table, please share your timeline info here.

Well there are two individuals who applied in Sep 2013, went into process Mid Nov 2013 and claims to have got the citizenship test already....

The last time i phoned cic, bout 3 weeks ago they said my application was still in sydney.. And the agent told me to wait for another 6-11 months.. So out of curiosity, i called them again today if they already transferred my app. To my local office here in edmonton she said yes.. So i asked when was the exact date.. She replied "oct 21st 2013" the funny thing is, this is the date they start processing my application in SYDNEY..!! :-[

I don't know who's telling the truth.. ???

Exactly same here. One time when i called, they said your background checks came great, everything looks good, your file is transferred to local office.

Next time called in, said yeah your background checks came perfect, everything looks good, already transferred to local office in december,asked the date, she said last week of december and i am in queue for test....

Called again few days ago, everything looks good, your backgrounds are fine and done, file is all prepared and is NOW ready to be sent to local office....I asked really?????? yes it is still at sydney and is not transferred yet....

Awww man now I don't even believe myself that I am who I am......Every call is interesting with surprising answers....

And I sit back and wonder how someone who applied Mid Sep, went into process Mid/late Nov 2013, already got this test date back in first or second week of January 2014 and we are still holding onto hopes.....Its quite surreal to hear that, but may be they are the chosen ones....

I called up today and heard the same thing. Our background check is done, file is ready to be sent to the local office in Scarborough and we are in the queue for the test.

I must notify that I had requested to change my name on the new passport as I got married. And earlier I was able to login with my maiden name to check my application. However, just yesterday, it didn't accept my maiden name but the new last name instead. So they did some sort of update for sure on my file.

Do you know if your file has been transferred yet to the local office? Did you try calling them? What possibly can be your local office?
