Recieved Passport Request Mail today :) :) Medicals Done on 7th May 2014 , Medicals recieved on 12th May.

All the best for those waiting for Passport request mails.

Well I recieved the PPR mail yesterday but it mentioned to send the passports to canada office. Since I am staying UK, I requested for arranging for Visa stamping in London office. Could you please let me know, approx in how many days would CIC reply for such requests (change of Visa office location) ?

Gott PPR on May 14th, finally man, do you guys know how long it takes them to send back?

Awesome, congrats!! :) the long wait is coming to an end. Some get the passport back within a matter of days,
others wait a little longer, depending on how far away from CIC you're located.

Wait started in Aug 2013 and ended in May 2014. Took about 6 days less than 9 months.

I received stamped passports and COPR today. Thanks a lot to all the forum members, Good luck to all those waiting for PR.

Please help! I was mailed my confirmation of permanent residence last month and I'm planning to land tomorrow but! The letter attached says there sho I led be a visa included - am I missing something? I currently have a valid work permit but there was no visa in the letter they sent me, just the cpr form. Was there a visa supposed to be sent too or is my work permit good enough? Please help!!!

There should be a one entry visa in your passport for landing purpose.

Landed just now in Houlton–Woodstock Border Crossing.

First went to US side and get a notes of being refused, and reentered Canada for landing.

The officer took our permits away and gave us the copy of Permanent Residency.
He said the permanent residency card may be available in 4-6 weeks.
Everything goes smoothly.

Thanks to all who help in this forum!
and best wishes for those still waiting.

If you just received your CoPR in the mail and were not asked for your passport, you do not need a visa.

What country is your passport? Certain citizens are visa-exempt.
