You will/should be receiving the ready for visa mail. All the canadian visa stampings on your passport till now are either visitor or PGWP visa's. When you send your passport this time, you will get the one time immigrant visa stamped and sent back to you.souffle said:Hi friends,
I'm new here and I have a few questions.
I did my medicals on March 21 2014, and the results were uploaded 2 days later.
ECAS says that my medicals were received, but it does not mention a date. It has been 2 weeks though since my status changed.
I still haven't received a PPR or anything of the sort.
Another question: I already have a Canadian visitor visa that is valid until 2023 as I had to go for a friend's wedding earlier this year. Will I still get a Ready for Visa email or....?
I applied from within Canada - as I had a PGWP - but then moved back to India where I am currently residing. I'm not sure where my visa will be stamped?
I am super confused and would appreciate any advice. I'm beginning to panic as it looks like people who've done their medicals after me are already receiving responses!
Thanks a lot - this place is a wealth of information
Edit: My application was received on August 11, 2013.

Both the places it is online medical, but i am still waiting for my PPR.
Should i need to worry and do some followup with some one or is it normal?
My ECAS status is in progress and the doctors said my medicals are uploaded by 9th April.
Medicals done in India are forwarded to CHC New Delhi and the medicals completed in Canada are to CIC.
Can this cause the delay? should i inform about this to CIC?
this is normal alot of people are waiting. cic has slowed down a lot probably because they have a big back log now.sometimes ecas will not change. people have landed and all it says is in processsouffle said:Hi friends,
