Hi
Please share your Landing experience, I am planning to go Buffalo once I received my passport back
It was pretty straight forward for us:
We entered the US by car, stopped briefly in Buffalo, and then drove back across the Canadian border.
At the border we notified the CBSA agent that we intended to land, they briefly looked at our CoPR & Passports, and asked the usual questions on entry.
They then gave us a piece of yellow paper and then directed us to pull over into the parking lot on the side and enter the immigration building.
Inside we walked straight up to an agent (Tuesday morning is apparently a great time to land, no line), and handed them our CoPR & passports.
They asked for something with our address on it, I gave them my drivers license, had us sign & initial the CoPR, and they had us sit down while they processed the paperwork.
About 10 minutes later they called us back up, told us the PR cards would come in the mail in 4-6 weeks, stapled a copy of the CoPR into our passports, stamped them, and handed them back to us.
And we were done!
After that, we got back in our car, paid the toll, and drove back to Toronto.
Back in Toronto we managed to swing by Service Canada before they closed and got our permanent Social Insurance Numbers.
