Received my PPR on 26th April. Good luck to everyone who are still waiting. It took more than 4 weeks for me to get PPR after my meds were done.

Good morning everyone.

I checked my ECAS last Friday and noticed that it was updated to "Decision Made".
I am from a visa-exempt country, thus won't be expecting PPR.
Does anyone have an idea of how long it typically takes between the update on ECAS and the issuance of the CoPR?

Thanks!

For me, the COPR was in my letterbox 2-3 days later.

This may seem fast, but remember eCAS is slow to update, and the decision probably happened a couple of days earlier.

Hi Dharane and tony congratulations!

when did your passports reach CIC and when did they mail it back?

They got it on April 23 and shipped on April 25. Usually CIC courier pickup is Wednesday and Friday.

I went to the medical clinic on Saturday. They confirmed my medicals were uploaded on March 31st. No change in ecas yet, still in process ::)

COPR arrived today!

Now I'm going to try rent a car and head to Buffalo tomorrow to exit and renter Canada.

Quick question for those who've gone through this already:
Once we've landed, will we automatically get Permanent Resident cards in the mail, or is that something separate we need to apply for?

Thanks!

Found the answer to my question: cic.gc.ca/english/information/pr-card/index.asp

"If you are immigrating as a permanent resident, CIC will mail your card to you when you get to Canada. You do not need to apply for a card."

Just got my MR! :) Almost 7 weeks after the average trend.
Courage and patience for others waiting for their MR and PPR. Slowly but Surely!
