I am sure you will get your MR soon. These additional docs might have delayed things a bit, but it will come eventually.
Check Toby's site for details on ordering GCMS notes. I believe there is a minimal fee while ordering it from outside Canada.

Thanks, I shall look into it.

Looking at my frustation, my friend suggested me to do upfront medicals. Will this help ?. Should I go ahead and do medicals ? . Please advise.

even mine says 'Decision made' ;D ;D, hopefully have my passport cant wait to go and get done with the landing ;D ;D

Also Kantesai just hold on buddy it will be there soon, renewed PCC and passport copies are not going to affect your application consideration in anyway. For peace of mind just order the GCMS so that atleast you know what happened till now.

I am sure in the mean time you will get your MR :)

Congrats! So when did you get your passport back with PR visa stamped. Did they mail it to you on April 7th. I am hoping to get mine close to end of next week. Curious to see how long is it taking Canada post to deliver from East coast to West..
Thanks and congrats again!

Thanks. I sent my passport by expresspost on 3rd Apr, was received by CPC on 7th Apr. They issued the visa on same day. Return tracker activated on 8th Apr and I received it back on 10th Apr Morning.

Looks like Canada Post is doing a good job. :)

Thanks for the details. Looks like mine will be a bit longer. They received it on Tuesday, Apr 8th and return tracker is still not activated.. Hopefully today or by Monday..

today I noticed, ecas is updated 'Medicals have been Received'

Medicals requested on: 6th March 2014
Medicals done on : 18th March 2014
Medicals Uploaded by doctor : 24th March 2014
Medicals reflected on ecas: 11th April 2014

do we know how long does it take to get ppr, after medicals are received by ecas?

What is the last day of entry ? Does it mean when l entered last time into Canada from my country or do they count entries from States as well. And am I able to go States right after landing or do I need to wait for PR card . because I heard the permanent visa has only one entry. Thanks

Yes, you can go to the states right after the landing and use the CoPR to reenter Canada. However, this works
on land crossings only, you can not fly back to Canada using the CoPR. If you do not drive across the border, you
have to wait for the PR card before you travel or apply for a travel document while outside Canada.

Do you have a link / source for this information? I was trying to search, but couldn't find it anywhere.

Guys a question ; I am planning to go down south to Miami around May 23 and not sure if I would have my PR card by then, I was reading the article Toby mentioned earlier but that does not specify what to do if we want to apply for a Travel Doc inside of canada before leaving?

Trying to find it but it only mentions to apply for it from out side of Canada, nothing from within Canada
