Received email to get visa stamped from New Delhi, India within a day from CIC. CIC is working pretty fast these days.
Sent my passport thru VFS Canada to New Delhi yesterday. Hoping to get it back within 15-20 working days.

Congrats KPRS_India. I moved to Sweden recently due to my work and have informed CIC for the same. I have done my medical and paid the RPRF also. Hope to get the PPR soon. I will be requesting them to get the passport stamped here in sweden like you did in India once I received the PPR.

In India I understand VFS facilitate this,but in Sweden I do not know how to handle this.
Does CIC will tell me how to get passport stamped if I request them to do here in Sweden? or is there any place where I can check the procedure.........

Yes, CIC will provide the site details who will be handling the visa stamping for you.
Most probably it will be Canadian Embassy in Sweden. What's your timeline?

Hey we are in similar situation. I moved to Germany and changed my address to the current one as well. I am hoping that CIC will inform me to get my passport stamped at the VSF in Germany.

For your case, I dont know if you could get passport stamped in Sweden, because I have a friend in Sweden who is going to work in Canada but when he applied for work permit, the visa was processed in London as Sweden doesnt have a Canadian visa office..

Thanks! Still waiting for PPR.. But, don't plan to land till May as I will be traveling in April. Can't travel if I land..
