My medicals were done on March 24 but doctor was very quick in posting the results.. he started working on my file when i was there .. and told me he assure results will be uploaded within a week.. he took less than 3 days to upload the results

oh that was super fast, like the medicals got uploaded and nearly same day PPR, did you pay RPRF upfront?

That's quick. I need to follow up on my doc next week, if he uploaded mine. Did medicals on Mar 26th..
When your status was "In Process" Did it show Medicals received when you clicked on your status? Just curious..

Not necessary, my medical has not been shown yet, but status changed to In process.

This is probably not a good question to ask and just after all the wait doubt creeps up..

I read this post from 'future canadian' on how after paying medicals and RPRF got a rejection, that is so freaky!!!!! felt so bad after reading that, so unpredictable!!!!

Agree with you man. That post is shocking me. But I think it is very very rare after RPRF. That is why he believes it us an error by VO.

For sure. Remember some member mentioned before that it will not end until you complete landing. I think this us true!

Yeah, ECAS change is not triggered by if medical is done or not. But I hope the change in ECAS means the process is moving along.

Yes that was strange. The RPRF request usually states that the application was "found eligible". In this person's case, I would bet that the eligibility review was already complete, then a senior officer had serious enough reservations about the work experience that they actually reopened the eligibility review and reversed the earlier decision.

Understandably, they have sought a review based on procedural fairness, but I'm not confident that the outcome will be any different, because again the work experience was weak enough that someone actually overrode the initial decision.

It's pretty unfair that they had to waste money on the medical exam before getting the refusal (at least RPRF is refundable).
