If you have used email, then you will only get AOR via the email.

Can you tell me how to check the status?

1. Which category did you apply for? - Permanent residence from within Canada
2. More specifically....... within Canada did you apply for? - Temporary resident permit holders
3. Click "Check Application Status".

Instead of "Permanent residence from within Canada", you have to select "Permanent Residence outside Canada". Then go ahead with CEC. You can see your status after receiving AOR.

I need to inform CIC That I have moved out of country and Canada is no longer my country of residence.

Should I just send email quoting my AOR and my current address to centralized-intake-office@cic.gc.ca to update the record ?

Also just email is sufficient to update this?

when your status on CIC becomes "application received", you can change your address online

If you email, always email CPP-O, not the office in syndey.

Hi I am new to this site and I require some clear information in regards to the CEC application.

I first worked in Alberta in 2010, for 6 months at a ski resort as a lift operator. I then returned in 2011 doing the same position for an additional 6months. I then worked in Ontario for 4 months as a team leader/ key holder (management team) in retail. I then returned to Alberta for another ski season working 2 months as a lift operator..after having a skiing injury I had to move to working as a server for 4 months. So I've been in Canada from 2010-2013. Do I qualify to apply in this category? Any information would be appreciated. I see it is in the NOC list but I'm finding it difficult to obtain information that is accurate for what I require.
