hello Toby, long time no see! Thank you for the translation thing last year, I have already been in Hamburg working for 1.5 months.

BTW I did the upfront medical in North York before leaving Canada in Dec last year. It cost $180 or so. Then I sent the scanned UMI paper to CPPO and asked them to link it with my case. Around a month after I checked the application status and saw:
1. application received on 8 August ,2013
2. Medical results received.
But I am still waiting for the request of police check cerficate. The Hong Kong PCC can only be issued with the CIC request letter.

Yes Edmonton is expensive and sloooooooooow, I had to call during one week and everytime i was asked to call half an hour latter to book appointment, of course after half an hour nobody answers the phone...Finally i choose to go to the medical centre to book the appointment, have to wait 1 hour and a half just for that, and the next appointment is until 1 month latter...

I have my appointment on Saturday at 715am Don't expect waiting a long time as that freaking early.

are you doing Medicals without MR? My clinic said they cannot perform the examination w/o the document from CIC

Yes, doing upfront meds as I'll be travelling in summer and won't be able to do meds when CIC requests it.

The clinic I go to is eMedicals enabled, they will upload the results to CIC.
