Dear All,

My got my application back with the reason that CIC do not accept "Certificate of Date of Birth" which was issued by consulate general of India and now I would start from level 0 once again. I have few doubts which I would like to get the clarified from my seniors here.

1. Last time I have paid by using online payment option, my question is do I need to pay once more or I can use the same receipt and send the same copy once again?
2. Now I am back to my home country, so would I need to provide the PCC from Canada as well?
3. Also since I am back to my home country, so in form IMM0008 Question 13 will have my home country detail and now I have to provide canada details in question 15. Please clarify.
4. IMM5669 Question 6 point d, I believe I will have to choose option "yes" here. What shall I be writing under the reason for the same? Please advice.
5. Now, Do I need to get my Indian PCC once again?

These question might be silly but I want to clarify each and every thing before sending my application this time.

Hello everybody I just received my AOR today Im pretty excited, I'm an August applicant I sent my application on July 29th and not sure if it reached Sydney on July 31st or August 1st it really doesnt matter I've been following this group right from the beginning And you all are great so Ill be around. Sorry to hear that buddy. I will give my answers but still wait for more from seniors.
1. The same receipt is fine.
2. It is not always necessary but probably they will ask you provide RCMP report during the process.
3. Q13 and 15 are in depedent information section. but whatever you should fill your current address as your current residence and living in Canada is a previous residence
4. No i dont think so. they just returned your app back due to incompleted package, it is not a rejection.
5. If the last one was issued more than 3 months ago then yes.

I guess they would refund the money back to the same CC you used for payment. If they do than you will have to make the payment once again.

Well its always better to attach it with the file if you are permanently back to your home country.

Why would you choose yes. You did not get AOR yet. Your file wasnt even in processing phase. You havent been rejected on grounds of inadmissibility or eligibility. The only reason your file was returned because of incomplete documents. I think you will have select "NO" for point d.

No the PCC is valid for 6 months. If you are submitting your file before 6 months than it is file with the current PCC you have.

When did you file you application? How many days did it take to return the file? Did they give any reasons for rejecting the DOB certificate from CGI. This sounds odd.

Thanks Tutu, when did you get your application back?, I mean the date when they sent back and the date when you received it.
I would like to know after how many days are they sending back the applications if the documentation is not complete.

Hi prashjcha are you sure the PCC is valid for 6 months? because according to the instruction guide "the PCC certificate must have been issued no more than three (3) months prior to submitting your application"

they usually return incomplete applications in 40-50 days as i have heard so far.

Use the same receipt. They won't return the money, unless you fill out a refund form and ask CIC to return your money.

Basically what CIC needs from you right now is, updated forms and documents. You use the same receipt.

One more question... Now I am not in Canada and so when now when I will be filling the form then I would not be using the same form...i.e. I would be using the one which comes under the applying from outside Canada > CEC form.

Please confirm weather I am going in right or wrong direction.

You're probably thinking of work permits. CEC doesn't have separate forms for applying inside or outside of Canada.
