It is difficult to move right away as my current lease doesn't expire for another few months. Another difficulty is that I am expecting to get a job offer soon (from Ontario or BC), and I have to move again in that case. :(

I have evidence of (multiple) interviews from two companies outside of Quebec, but not a job offer yet (still in process). Does providing them with that info, as well as that I no longer work in Quebec suffice? Basically, I know that I am gonna move out of Quebec, but to which province, it depends on where I can get a job.

If sending a lease is crucial, another thing that comes to my mind is to sign a new lease for May 2014. Does it affect their decision if the lease starts in near future instead of right now?

Thanks everyone for helping

I understand but why do you want to come this far and get rejected because you have 2 months on your lease. I think sending something concrete is essential

If you submitted additional documents I think it takes cic about 2 weeks to review the document and send medical request. (Speaking from experience).
However, if you have not heard anything from CIC I suggest you email the Member of parliament in your local area; CIC usually responds to them between 2 to 4 days as opposed to 30 days if you do it yourself. Hope this helps.

I think thats true, even i had submitted additional documents recently and could have delayed my MR!!!....Hopefully they pick up our files and send MR soon....All the best to everyone still waiting for MR....

I too sent additional documents, that might be the reason for delay. Let us hope we all get our MR soon.

So it took approx 8 months. Applied on Aug2 2013 -> AOR on 6th OCt -> Landed on 25 March 2014

I do have US visa, but I don't think you need US Visa, so don't worry, when you get your COPR, just go to border with CONFIDENCE :), non-busy hours as I went at 9:30ish pm, and tell them " I am here of PR landing" and they will do the rest.

Got it. Thanks

Finally the Status has been changed to DM - Decision made

I found two things about ECAS status changes, I have confirmed and cross checked with two of my friends and their ECAS Status.
1. CIC Runs some batch on Wednesday night/Thursday Morning and Sunday Night/Monday Morning to update status in ECAS
2. PPR emails comes mostly in night around 10 to 11pm EST. - Since its an automated email and looks like a batch job to send emails.

I may be wrong, it's just 3 applications analysis.

Can I say that receiving medical request means that the process is at a stage where MR results and RPRF are needed to issue CoPR? or the VO is still performing the eligibility checks etc.

Also, what is PPR?

My eCas changed last night to "in process". We started processing your application on March 24, 2014.

I really hope I some good news today....it has been a long wait.
