Hey I guess you and me are the only one left from April(Medical done) to get PPR request.
I have ordered GCMS last month and got it yesterday. it seems security = not started.
I don't know how long more I have to wait...

They don't update security - you won't ever know if it's been completed. Chances are it's either done or still in process.

Medical = Passed

What is the status in ECAS? Does it say the Medicals were received? If not, You can send an email to CIC requesting them to confirm whether the Medical results are received or not. Also ask them to let you know the current status of your application.

Does he have to? It already says in his GCMS notes Medicals passed.

eCas shows Medicals received.
CIC says, they are waiting for security reports, no precise date can be provided.

Here is my explain you i got medical request on 11 june but some how i missed that email but i paid rprf and biodata it has been sent already, so request them agin medical but they taking long so i sent them another email , after they give imo no for medical attachedment i did my medical next day i got another email for medical request that one different imo no . I inform to cic office and they said they will take out my medical from my physician but it will take additonal time . So right now i m countine day i did my medical 7july 2013 and today is aug 30 but no news from cic even nothing is update my ecas still the same thing like "in process " and i have to go back home in couple week after dont know what should i do , i apply for gcms note too it will gonna come probably 7 sept . Do you have any idea for me what should i do now....

Hi Shah,

I am not sure what to say, but I guess In case if you get the PPR when you went back home, you can inform CIC about your current state and let them know that you will be delaying your passports until you come back from vacation.

Seniors, if anyone has similar experience, please provide your suggestions to Shah.

I just got an email from cic which is said "This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

Ø 59...... Name
Ø > Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate RCMP record Check based on Fingerprint submission. Please consult the following website for further instructions on how to obtain a Certified Criminal Record Check.
Ø http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/fing-empr2-eng.htm This must be received at this office by: 10/26/2013

didn't u submitted all these with ur initial application??? just wondering. well, that's the address but try and send everything with explanation note explaining what ur sending and the reason, remember to include ur personal information on the explanation letter so that they can trace ur file, also include the copy of the email u received.

Thank you for your replying i sent everything along with application but ur police certificate expired in one year so my file submit now more than year so thats why i guess they ask for again back home police clearence and rcmp finger print ,, so you will be asked i think if you cross over1 year police clearence

nope, I doubt it since I haven't travelled outside Canada since my application. did u at any chance travelled?? I never seen this kind of situation but who knows? , u might be right. I just completed my medical and now waiting for ppr.

I didnt go any where when file was processing so i suppose to get ppr but no i got police clearence requiest so if you cross your 1 year of your police clearence so better get it now before they ask this is my experience !!! Coz i was gonna get ppr but no they wants to clear and valid police clearence before they ask for ppr
